The Alpha Automotive 1K Epoxy Primer / Sealer Aerosol is your go-to solution for professional-grade adhesion and corrosion resistance across a wide range of substrates. This high-performance 1-part epoxy primer is specially formulated for ease of use, fast drying, and a smooth, consistent finish—ideal for both automotive professionals and DIY enthusiasts. On top of being a great primer surfacer, it can also be used as a weld through primer! Making this a versatile "Must Have" for both professionals and DIY'ers alike.
Supplied in a convenient 17oz / 500ml aerosol spray can, it features a variable spray gun-style nozzle with two interchangeable tips for customizable spray patterns. Whether you're covering bare metal or prepping a restoration project, the 1K Epoxy ensures a clean, even application every time.
This product is also fully compatible with all Alpha Automotive spray cans and basecoats, making it a perfect foundation for your entire paint process—from primer to final finish. Topcoat without the need to sand 15mins after its dry to the touch, up to 24hrs. Past 24hrs scuff with 600g before applying basecoat.

-We ship both domestic (USA) as well as internationally. There are a few limitations for international orders. We cannot ship hazardous materials via air, so when it comes to paint, body filler, or other hazmat items we cannot ship it internationally or to places that require air shipping (Alazka, Hawaii, etc) .

The coverage and adhesion is great. Sands easily to provide a great mechanical bond.
Excellent primer, smooth very easy to use, dried quickly. Lays on so smoothly. If I tried to it could looked like a flat black guitar paint job. Very impressive for a primer sealer! Price is fair compared to others so ill be using this spray system going forward! BTW perfect for DIY hobbies up through pro work imo. Very happy, ty.

Sprayed well flowed out well for spraying out of a can, worked perfect for not having to clean the gun in between coats for a little job, will use again.

My dodge charger hemi rt, had some bad bug damage to the bumper so im using alpha spray paint to bring it back , im in the middle of the project ,and its going awesome so far !

I didn't grab a photo of the rims I was painting in their primed state, but I did make a YouTube short that shows it. They turned out as amazing as I expected, by the way. Here in Arizona, the sun has faded out my yard art. My dragonflies lost nearly all the beautiful colors on their wings. Raven Super Colorshift has done a great job of showing off their details. I used the recommended primer in black-C2130. I loved the way it goes on and dries in 5 minutes. I used 3 coats. Then 3 coats of the Raven. Topping it off with High Gloss clear automotive paint. I love it!

So far I have used the primer and the base coat in the restoration of my 1943 German Kubelwagen. I really like how both products apply with ease and the final coverage is excellent I wish you would offer the products in quart Size for spraying I will be back for more

I'm a DIY'er and have limited experience with paint. However, TSS and Alpha products made the job extremely easy and I couldn't be happier with the results. I used their entire system: gray primer/sealer, black basecoat, custom topcoat, and finally 2K clearcoat. Both the products AND cans were very high quality and included flow-adjustable nozzles, orientation control of the fan/pattern, and a wide fan pattern which makes it very easy to shoot paint like a pro! Good morning. I bought this product from researching and recommendations that epoxy primers, especially on brand new unrusted and corroded steel. To have a long term sealed bond the preparation with a quality primer is critical to achieve long-term protection. My only complaint was the price. I don’t know why epoxy paints are so expensive but it’s the best product out there and will use again. Thanks.
