Egyptian Gold Dry Pearl Pigment
is an elegant and luxurious gold pigment. This color is great for full coverage color change applications (over black) or as effect over other colors like red green, or blue.
The samples is full coverage over black.
This pigment is for liquid wrap, airbrushing, or bedliners only.
-Free Ground Shipping in the lower 48 USA on orders over $150 (Not free to Alaska, Hawaii, & US territories)
-We ship both domestic (USA) as well as internationally. There are a few limitations for international orders. We cannot ship hazardous materials via air, so when it comes to paint, body filler, or other hazmat items we cannot ship it internationally or to places that require air shipping (Alazka, Hawaii, etc) .
-Multiple shipping options on non hazardous materials ( UPS, USPS, Overnight etc)
-Qualifying international orders are shipped via UPS or DHL. Most countries there are 3 day options.
-During sales or other high volume days, expect 2-5 days to process the order.
-Normal conditions, we ship same or next day. Mixed paint can take 1-3 days depending on the backlog.

Very different paint. Never needed nine coats to get the tone I was looking for. But all in all liked the final finish

What an incredible experience! I was nervous about picking a golden color over the internet but this color does not disappoint. It is absolutely gorgeous and everyone that has seen it cannot take their eyes off of it! The paint itself is just as amazing, the coverage was perfect through the whole process. I bought four more KitchenAid mixer to paint and all the paint will come from the Spray Source!

I love the Egyptian gold colors, just not for BBS gold rims. What I have decided is the car itself would be be deep black with Egyptian gold accents highlights in sunlight popping through and I am changing the center BMW wheel cap from standard silver writing to BBS gold and changing the standard blue and white portion to black and BBS gold for a new one of a kind look. Again car color deep black base color with Egyptian gold accents with new center Cap gold and black replacing blue and white will look amazing
Compared to Rustoleum “gold” paint, this Egyptian Gold is 1000x better. I love the yellow “pop” and the flaking. I never spray-painted before let alone spraypainting automotive parts. For the DIY hobbyst the quality of this Egyptian Gold makes it look professional (i am not a professional by any means, as seen in the pictures attached)….
i’ve attached pic of a transmission cover painted with a “gold” powdercoat paint, next to the motorcycle forks I painted using Egyptian Gold. The difference is evident, even in poor light, with the Egyptian Gold looking like “real” gold vs the powdercoat part that looks more bronze than gold.
Btw I noticed the gold color will “pop” in lots of light but look darker in low light.
I also attached pics of painted parts with first layer of 2K clearcoat. Looks amazing!

Downsides of this paint:
- paint tends to run, as spraying more liquid than actual paint.. I noticed this happening on a few cans.
- don’t have powdercoat option :/
Customer service is proper. I was sent a wrong can of paint once but then i was mailed another can of paint for free after filing a claim.

Pretty amazed at the vibrant color this Egyptian gold gave to my engine bay bling .. will be getting more for extra bling .

I paint miniatures and small things, not cars, so I am using an airbrush...
You need a .5-.8mm nozzle with this pigment.
As with all the pearls, you need a really good BLACK base, preferably a deep flat black. With a good base, this is amazing. The depth is astounding.
It is NOT a solid gold, it has a grain which gives it depth...
when I showed my spouse a test spray her comment was "Wow, thats amazing"
The photo below shows my "test cat" and a primed plastic spoon with some other pearl colors in the background.
For those interested in Airbrushing, I am using about 1/16tsp of pigment in 1oz of gloss medium.
