The Astro 332 Air Denibbing Sander uses a small 1.25" (30mm) pad size for isolated spot focus sanding and dennibbing of clear coats instead of redoing entire areas. What that means is that the main use is to remove dust or debris from clearcoat before buffing. This helps make the job clean and smooth quickly without sanding large parts of the car making it a much faster job.
This sander is an orbital sander, not a rotary sander. It is specifically designed for spot sanding and denibbing, using a very small 0.2mm orbit to remove dirt nibs and imperfections in clearcoat without leaving deep scratches. This makes it ideal for fine detailing and finishing work.
Comfortably reach tighter and more compact areas and counters with this unit’s ultra compact right angle design. The adjustable speed allows you to speed up to 8,000RPM with a full head height of 3" with a pad.
