Professional Detailing Products — Protect & Perfect Your Finish

After the paint cures, the detail work begins. The Spray Source carries professional detailing products from CarPro, Buff Brite, and other trusted brands for wet sanding, polishing, ceramic coating, and long-term paint protection.

Wet Sanding & Polishing

Fresh clearcoat often has orange peel or minor imperfections that need to be leveled. Start with 1200–2000 grit wet sanding, then step through cutting compound and finishing polish to bring out a mirror-like gloss. Our Buff Brite compounds and polishes are formulated specifically for automotive clearcoats.

Ceramic Coatings & Sealants

CarPro ceramic coatings provide long-term UV protection, hydrophobic water beading, and chemical resistance. After spending time on a quality paint job, a ceramic coating ensures it stays looking fresh for years. Browse CarPro IronX, HydrO2, Reload, and CQuartz in this collection.

Polishers & Pads

Dual-action (DA) orbital polishers are the safest choice for beginners — they won't burn through your clear like a rotary can. Pair with foam cutting pads for compound work, then switch to finishing pads for the final polish. We carry polishers, foam pads, wool pads, and complete detailing kits.

When to Detail

Allow your Alpha Automotive clearcoat to cure at least 12 hours before wet sanding or polishing. For best results, wait 24–48 hours in a warm environment. Always test compounds on an inconspicuous area first.
