Tamco HC-4105 Extra Slow Glamour Clearcoat Kit
HC-4105 is the EXTRA SLOW VERSION of HC-4100 which means it is a medium solids clearcoat that has excellent flow, leveling and gloss retention. This should ONLY BE USED in extremly hot temperatures (85F+) and on large jobs.
At 45% solids it still provides plenty of film build for the custom and collision industry.
As with many of the other Tamco clears HC-4105 is manufactured from direct to metal resins. This means clear can be applied directly over properly sanded and cleaned metal where protection from the elements is required.
Tip from Tommy: If you are used to spraying a 4:1 Euro or glamour clear, like PPG DCU-2021 , this clear will be VERY comfortable to spray and will achieve the same results off the gun, but have the benefit to being easier to cut and buff if you choose to do that. This is my go to clear for restorations and custom paint.
