Acura’s Tiger Eye Pearl (YR651P) Done Right by @kdencustoms
You know that color that stops you mid-scroll? Tiger Eye Pearl is one of those. Deep gold with a burnt orange flip—it's aggressive, slick, and straight from Acura’s performance palette.
This color came to life in a recent DIY paint project by @kdencustoms, using OEMatch Acura Tiger Eye Pearl (YR651P) from Alpha Automotive Paint, supplied by The Spray Source.
And he didn’t just lay it straight—he did it right, spraying it over a grey groundcoat for extra depth and richness. The result? Bold, high-impact color with that unmistakable OEM finish.
This project used our OEMatch Full Paint Kit, which includes:
- Sealer
- Reducer
- Grey Groundcoat (for proper base tone)
- Basecoat matched to Acura YR651P
- Clear Coat - AC-4521 HS Glamour Clear
