Phantom Purple Paint Basecoat

is an epic Alpha Custom Color with the best aspects of the 3 best paint types — Pearl, Candy, and Traditional Basecoat! It provides excellent coverage while delivering the deep, vibrant look of a true candy finish ðŸ”Ĩ

Phantom Purple is primarily a bold, rich purple that shifts beautifully to black and blue hues depending on the light and angle, giving your project a dynamic, color-shifting effect that demands attention.

This color is best over a black sealer as shown on the speedshape.

All of our Alpha Custom Color Basecoats are bound in a specifically formulated binder that has pigment control (to avoid striping or mottling), great UV Resistance, crystal clear, and great pearl suspension.

This color is also available in aerosol spray cans, vehicle paint kits, painted samples, and more!

-Free Ground Shipping in the lower 48 USA on orders over $150 (Not free to Alaska, Hawaii, & US territories)

-We ship both domestic (USA) as well as internationally. There are a few limitations for international orders. We cannot ship hazardous materials via air, so when it comes to paint, body filler, or other hazmat items we cannot ship it internationally or to places that require air shipping (Alazka, Hawaii, etc) .

-Multiple shipping options on non hazardous materials ( UPS, USPS, Overnight etc)

-Qualifying international orders are shipped via UPS or DHL. Most countries there are 3 day options.

-During sales or other high volume days, expect 2-5 days to process the order.

-Normal conditions, we ship same or next day. Mixed paint can take 1-3 days depending on the backlog.

All in all, we had a good experience with this product. The color turned out phenomenal on the clear coat laid out and ran out like a sheet of glass. Almost not wanting to wet sand and buff and polish. So smooth. The only issue we had was with the primer. We bought two different batches of primer. And our primer came and two consistencies. One of them was super thick. We had to reduce down more than the other. Teaching the owner how to spray his own parts with these products was a dream. Everything laid down amazing.

To b honest i havnt tried it yet .. intending to experiment with auto paint on plastic model cars .. once i do i will send pictures etc .

Exactly as shown I wanted a sample to see how it would be on my truck seeing it in person but might have to go with my gut & order another sample. But other than that the color is amazingly beautiful.
