The Alpha Automotive High Build Primer 1K Aerosol is a professional-grade acrylic based primer surfacer engineered for maximum film build, excellent hold-up, and fast dry times—making it ideal for blocking, filling, and surface refinement before paint. Designed to lay down thick and smooth, this high-build formula helps eliminate sanding scratches, minor imperfections, and uneven surfaces with fewer coats.

Featuring an ultra-fast dry-to-sand time, this primer dramatically speeds up workflow while delivering a consistent, high-quality foundation for basecoat and clearcoat systems. Its advanced anti-sag properties allow for heavy application without runs, even on vertical panels. Sand with 320-400 grit before our 1k Epoxy Sealer or 600 before our basecoats!

This versatile 1K primer can be applied directly to bare metal, most plastics, and existing finishes, and is fully compatible with both water-based and solvent-based topcoats.
